แพทย์หญิงจิรา ถาวรประดิษฐ์ จบการศึกษาแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิต จากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จากนั้นได้ปฏิบัติงานเป็นแพทย์เวชปฏิบัติทั่วไป ที่โรงพยาบาลศูนย์นครปฐม และได้ศึกษาและวิจัยทางด้านผิวหนัง จนได้รับปริญญาวิทยาศาสตร์มหาบัณฑิตด้านตจวิทยา (ผิวหนัง) เนื่องจากเล็งเห็นปัญหาทางสุขภาพในสังคม และสนใจในการดูแลสุขภาพในแนวทางการสร้างเสริมและป้องกันเพื่อให้ร่างกายเกิดความแข็งแรง และเสื่อมช้าลง จึงเข้ารับการอบรมเกี่ยวกับเวชศาสตร์ชะลอวัย , โรคอ้วน และสารอาหาร ปัจจุบันแพทย์หญิงจิรา หนึ่งในแพทย์ผู้ชำนาญการทางด้านการดูแลป้องกันและฟื้นฟูสุขภาพของ Royal Life Anti-Aging Center โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพ และบีดีเอ็มเอสเวลเนส คลินิก เป็นที่รู้จักกันดีในแง่ผู้ชำนาญการเกี่ยวกับการฟื้นฟูร่างกาย โรคอ้วน สารอาหารวิตามิน และผิวหนัง
